About This Spot

Stepping into Lili et Oli Verdun feels like slipping into a quietly vibrant corner of the neighborhood where gentle hums of conversation mingle with the soft clinking of cups. The warm hues of soft wood and golden lighting invite you to pause, whether you’re settling in with a book, catching up with friends, or sketching out your thoughts on a laptop. It’s a space that thoughtfully balances cozy intimacy with an airy openness, made even more inviting by the presence of lush houseplants that seem lovingly tended and the occasional rays peeking through to the small, tucked-away garden outside.

The pace here unfolds unhurriedly, as if the café breathes with the rhythm of its patrons—students deep in study, locals sharing a quiet moment, baristas carefully crafting each drink with a quiet focus. This is no place for rush; instead, it encourages taking time to savor the subtle layers of your experience, from the fragrance of freshly baked croissants to the delicate warmth of a latte spiced just so.

Menu offerings here are less about buzzwords and more about moments: a matcha latte that grounds you in calm clarity, a pumpkin spice latte that captures autumn’s gentle arrival without overwhelming sweetness, or an intense yet nuanced espresso whose bitter notes spark small bursts of energy and thought. Their housemade chai, with its delicate balance of spice, fills the air with a quiet promise of comfort.

The staff, quietly attentive and undeniably kind, add to the atmosphere not just through service but by nurturing the very space itself—tending to plants and creating a living, breathing backdrop for all who gather. Whether seated indoors among softly playing music and comfortable nooks or outside in the garden where conversations float lightly in the air, Lili et Oli invites you to lean into the moment, connecting with the simple joys of good company, warm drinks, and a space that feels like a well-kept secret in Verdun.

Perfectly alright café. Seems ideal for settling down and working on something, as they have multiple tables available for individual people. The place is cozy and the staff is unbelievably kind, with one of the baristas adding to the atmosphere with her diligent maintenance of the houseplants decorating the establishment. Funnily, the weakest aspect is the food. The coffee is perfectly acceptable, but nothing special, while the blueberry muffin I had had a pleasant texture, but was lacking in flavour. I recommend the place if you want to go somewhere to read, have a nice conversation, or work on a project *alongside* a drink or treat of your choice, but it's not worth going for the coffee alone.

Beautiful coffee shop with lots of tables, seats, a couch, and a small garden to work from. They make their own chai in house which is a bit on the spicier side but also a bit watery. They should concentrate or reduce it more in my opinion. The decaf coffee is nice. I got a shot and while it had some bitter, drying features it was also fruity and acidic. Not bad. The also offer pastries. I ordered the blueberry muffin - it looked so good. I could do without the sugar crystals on top but it was still good - fluffy and sweet. And actually paired well with my bitter shot of coffee. Random but they also won some 'best toilets in the North America' award in 2021. So if you happen to drink lots of coffee, you'll have a good, clean place to relieve yourself haha. Cheers!

After a long cycling, i tried to look for a cafe in the avenue wellington and i discovered this cute cafe while walking. The place looks really cozy and spacious, with using the soft wood color, yellow lighting and calming music, good for people that want to work, study or just hang out and socializing. They also have the outdoor garden for people to hang out with some exception like no laptops, smokes, and dogs. Their coffee is also good and tastes not burn. There are not a lot of pastry collection, but when i visited the café, they ran out of the pastry.

Such a bright and cute cafe with lots of tables and seating and amazing drinks and service. We tried the new pumpkin spice lattee and it was soooo good. Best PSL I've had as it wasn't too sweet and the fall spices came out nicely. Also love the whipped cream and crunchies on top of the drink. We were told the owner recently came up with the PSL recipe at home using all natural ingredients, no syrup like some other places may use. Hot chocolate was also delicious and tasted like real chocolate and not like a powder. The barista was super friendly and made the visit an 11/10!

Place is always busy and has nice, friendly staff. A nice place to hangout. The coffee is very bitter, which is a personal preference, but just not to my liking.

I am very picky with coffee and this cafe does coffee justice. They have their own coffee brand, the cafe is huge with a ton of seating and they have a private patio in the back to relax and read. The staff is friendly and their pastries and scones are always fresh.

In fact. I have been to Notre dame Lili&Oli. TBH, I more prefer this one ! Cuz the place more big ! And the atmosphere more comfortable and stuff all nice and friendly! But the cafe same like another’s! All good! I love mocha latte so much

A good cafe located in one of the coolest streets in the world. Every week I tend to find a cafe never been before to do some small reading and writing. This place offers me an excellent atmosphere for my activities. Appreciate it.
